A favourite of Filipino Stylist Angelo Villanueva, our Cleopatra necklace was designed by our artisan Mely. It can be worn as a collar with barrel shaped hand rolled recycled paper beads and braided re-purposed clothes with a stainless clasp at the back of the neck.
 
All our handrolled recycled paper beads are dipped in a resin and dried 3 times. Although this makes the beads durable and water resistant, they are not waterproof.  We do not recommend that they are worn in the shower or while swimming.
 
The textile used is generally scarves, sheets, or other clothing items bought from the infamous Ukay Ukay stores in the Philippines that sell imported discarded clothes.
